Massages and RC cars

The Deep Tissue Massage I had today was pretty good. Justin massaged me for 50 minutes and there was no hanky-panky. I did not come away a new person but the Steam Room after was almost the best.

I went to S&D for Indian dinner tonight and was treated to a Feast from the East. The table in the backyard was properly decked and D prepared some excellent samosas for a starter.  I brought the beer but we had to settle for Killian Red because I could not find any TAJ in-spite of visiting all the appropriate liquor stores including the specific one suggested by S. The main course consisted on Lamb with a special sauce, rice, numerous Indian breads of course, some great veggie dish designed by S, some light yogurt dish and numerous pickles and chutneys.  Mahatma Ghandi would have needed to buy a new Sari and pants if he were at this dinner. I brought over some gifts for E and L and so we opened up the gifts after dinner. In order to expand Ls horizons, to add a little diversification and to keep her dad on his toes, I got a nice Remote Control car for L. Dad and I had to try to put it together S made comments about how did you ever got your helicopter together”, and if you crashed the heli so many times, are you qualified to put this together?  and Oh look L, Peter does not like to read the instructions. S also kept filling up the glasses of Port which did not help improving hand dexterity. Anyway between D with his technical expertise and dexterity, me and my comments, and some help from L we managed to get it together (it was not zip-zip as advertised).  We handed it over to L. She is a great driver and had the car spinning all over the house instantly:  on the floor and on the carpet, under the couch and into the next room, under the table and into her next stage of coordination

S and L had made a rhubarb pie for desert. The pie was covered in pastry shaped in the form of African wild-life and it tasted great served with a nice cup of tea and finished off in style with some Port.
