Photo class
Instead of watching the finals of Dancing with the Stars, S invited me to come over to a photo class he was giving at his studio. My Sony camera was not quite up to the D70, D70S, and Cannon models but beat a little snapshot digital slightly. Back-lighting, relections, diffuse lighting, use of a flash in a million ways and the technology of over- and under-exposure were but some of the topics. The size of the light, the intensity of the light and the direction of the light were demonstrated and discussed in detail. I was asked to model so that S could show the impact of the various light configurations on the view, but when it came to demonstrating the real value of over-head lighting, I was replaced because my bald spot was too reflective. Ah, but while it lasted and all the cameras were flashing and clicking, I felt like a star with the Paperazzi chasing me.
I went home with a nice pie that K made and sent with S for me to take home.
